Scope of application of the inter-networks interchange rates
The inter-networks interchange rates are applied to transactions in which the parties intervening as issuer and acquirer belong to different domestic card payments schemes (EURO 6000, Sistema 4B y ServiRed).
Procedure for assigning inter-network interchange rates for consumer cards
Maximum values for ServiRed’s inter-networks interchange rates for consumer cards are those established by Law 18/2014, of 15th October, as shown below:

Procedure for assigning inter-network interchange rates for commercial cards*
Every quarter the Bank of Spain calculates the rates for the previous quarter for commercial cards on the basis of the inter-networks data reported by each of the three domestic card payments schemes (Euro6000, Sistema 4B, and ServiRed) respectively .
