Scope of application of the ServiRed Intra-network interchange rates
ServiRed’s interchange rates are applied to transactions in which the parties intervening as issuer and acquirer are members of ServiRed.
Procedure for assigning ServiRed intra-network interchange rates for consumer cards
Maximum values for ServiRed’s interchange rates for consumer cards are those established by Royal Decree Law 8/2014 of 4th July, as indicated below:

Procedure for assigning ServiRed intra-network interchange rates for commercial cards*
Interchange rates associated to consumer cards to be used by merchants in transactions acquired by ServiRed members are assigned in one of the three bands shown below, in accordance with their total card-based sales volume:
|Tier 1: 0 – 100 million €|
|Tier 2: 100 – 500 million €|
|Tier 3: More than 500 million €|
Interchange rates for credit transactions are expressed as a percentage, while those for debit transactions are expressed in eurocents per transaction.
